Peony's USA map
I did not count Arkansas, Idaho, and Oklahoma, since I've only passed through them on my way to other states. I only counted states where I've been as a destination.

When I did it, I counted Vermont where we stopped for a hamburger on our way back from Canada when I was 11, but not states I had only been through in cars or on trains. And Matt told me to count a state where I was only in the airport (Colorado.)

You are so refreshingly honest.
I drew the line at not counting states that I had passed over in a plane. But I counted Texas and Georgia only because I spent some time loitering in the airports in Houston and Atlanta. (But I think Houston should count. The air felt different. Very heavy. Even inside an air conditioned building. In March.

If I did that, I'd have less than a handful of states. ;)

I just want to know what Peony was doing in Alabama!

Surprised I made it that far south? I was little, so I have only the dimmest memories of Alabama. My dad was stationed at Maxwell AFB.

Oh well, it is good though, that even at so young an age, you were fortunate enough to live in the greatest state our nation has! Hopefully it has benefitted you.

Here's my map. I was tempted to count Washington, but I only drove over the river by accident while in the Portland, OR area. I've stayed overnight in all but WI, NE and NC.
