The age difference is approximately the same as that between my great-grandfather and my great-grandmother, although I think they were each a couple of years older. He was a childless widower at the time. They had five children, of whom my grandmother was the youngest.
Ah, no biggie. My best friend is married to a man 25 years old than she (same age as her parents, actually) and my husband's parents were twenty years apart in age.
