You’re Watership Down!
by Richard Adams
Though many think of you as a bit young, even childish, you’re actually incredibly deep and complex. You show people the need to rethink their assumptions, and confront them on everything from how they think to where they build their houses. You might be one of the greatest people of all time. You’d be recognized as such if you weren’t always talking about talking rabbits.

Actually I have never read this book. I’ve tried a couple of times but I never made it past the first couple of chapters, and it’s not because I couldn’t handle talking animals.

  1. A boy I dated in high school was just nuts about this book, so I dutifully read it, all the way through.
It’s okay. It’s not as charming as “Wind in the Willows” and the pacing is really sleepy, so it’s hard to get through. Not surprised you couldn’t make it through.

  2. Peony, are you getting e-mail from anyone at your non-blog address? Tried last night and tonight and got it returned with “SMTP service not available.”

  3. D’s m — see above. I’m not getting much email that isn’t SPAM.
Sparki — Oh I love The Wind in the Willows! I’ll just stick with that.

  4. sorry, D’s mom, major reading comprehension failure there. I wrote that as I was disgustedly weeding out all that spam.
I am getting email okay at my non-blog addy, or at least I did this afternoon. Perhaps a resend would be successful?
