Tony, Tony, come around….

…something’s lost and can’t be found. Yes, I’ve lost something again, and it seems to have vanished from my purse, probably into that space-time anomaly. The something is new and not easily replaceable, so I am frantic.

  1. May St. Anthony of Padua intercede for you in this matter. You do realize his feast is coming up next week. He might be holding out for his big day with God to favorably answer your prayer. 😉

  2. That may well be true; but, it doesn’t mean she’ll find it by then. I’ve had St. Anthony hold out on me before.
Peony, I do hope you are able to find it in a timely manner. (I didn’t mean to imply that I hoped St. Anthony would hold out on you.)

  3. Oh, St Anthony has been known to hold out on me before. I will be out of town on his feast day, and I could use the item in question while we’re away, so unless he sneaks it in my bag for me to find on Sunday, I would really appreciate it if he could show me where to find it a little earlier. Like today or tomorrow. But perhaps he will respond to your intercession, even if he’s tired of the sound of my own voice.

  4. I’ll throw my prayers in as well. St. Anthony’s been very good to us this year.
