but I am fat and lazy. Seriously, each day I have a list of things both necessary and recreational to do, and every day I cross on necessity off the list and sit on my behind. Part of me wants to crawl into bed and cry that I’m exhausted, am not accomplishing much with my life and how much this sucks not to feel like me. The other part doesn’t want to complain because it’s simply “well duh! You’re 36 and having Baby Number 7! What did you expect?” Then part of me worries that I am a lazy bum and I need to get myself to confession pronto. So I get up and bring a load of laundry down, and I have to sit for another hour to recover.
So here we are, and each day I have lots of baking and sewing I want to get done, or else Christmas will be ruined RUINED RUINED! Cuz you know, it’s not like it will come again next year.
So, in the meantime, I have to thank someone by the name of St. Nick. We just got a card in the mail addressed to us and return addressed from us (but I didn’t I send it). When I opened it, there was a substantial amount of money in the card. If that is from a blog reader, thank you and God bless you. If not, let this be a lesson to everyone else who is skeptical of St. Nick, he does exist.
