Tony, Tony, come around….

Re: missing items
Gone missing this afternoon: one puzzle piece (shaped like a cow — a Holstein.)
Still missing: one triangle striker.
Thanking you in advance for your assistance,
Your faithful petitioner,
Peony Moss
I had thought that it was safe to move the puzzles from their high spot above the computer to a lower spot on a bookshelf. I was so proved wrong today in a crash of nine puzzles and approximately 106 little puzzle pieces. So back up on the high shelf they go.
UPDATE: Holstein puzzle piece found (under the sofa cushion.) Thank you!

  1. Glad St. Anthony came through. Now you owe something to charity. As the patron of both lost things and the poor, St. Anthony extracts payment for his help. 😉
BTW, added to my post on Cornwell’s book to address your question.

  2. TY for the tip on your post. As for Saint Anthony, just waiting for the charity to call me back.
I had better get organized or this could get expensive 😉

  3. I, your friendly neighbor, have a deep devotion to St. Anthony of Padua. He’s my patron (as if you couldn’t tell by the gimongous picture of him on my blog). If I pray for that triangle striker thing, he’ll find it, I’m sure. So, I’ll go about praying for that right now.

  4. thanks, Robert!
KTC — if he did eat it, I’ll take him to the circus instead of the emergency room; the thing is about four or five inches long. I’m hoping it didn’t get thrown away — Hambet might have done it for fun, or dh might have done it not realizing what it was.
We checked the cold-air return vent last night — we’ve found all kinds of things in there. We found a chopstick but no triangle striker.
