I cease to understand how can someone think of something this dumb and think it is a good idea, but that there are other morons who agree.

Very dumb, indeed. Classic PETA.
That is sooo dumb.
(Altho I can’t help but wonder why Subway chose Lent to introduce their half pound of pork sub. Hearing that advertised on the radio on Ash Wednesday was a bit gross. Of course, I think a half pound of anything – even chocolate – is gross. 🙂 )
…but pigs taste so good!
Do people actually listen to what PETA has to say? I mean, didn’t they actually say once that they would rather have kids drinking beer than milk?
This is very dumb, Sister.
Did they say that? Like you said, does anyone even listen to them with this nonsense?
I don’t know that anyone listens ACTIVELY or not, but the message still becomes part of the cultural zeitgeist. It forms part of the underlying belief system of the culture. Most know that PETA nutzos are crazy, but they do get their message into the subconcious….
It’s sort of like those Concerned Scientist people–you know the ones that told us that a plate of Mexican food was a “heart attack on a plate.” DUH! They are pushing the same agenda…radical vegetarianism. But they’ve kept on keeping on long enough that every press conference they hold is treated as a “news item” on the 6 p.m. news. It matters not to the news outlets, and I use that term facetiously, that these are agenda driven folks–not really objective scientists….
yeah! what terry said.
