So today is the third anniversary of 911. Three years went by fast. I really do not have many comments besides that. It was such an emotional (and still is) ordeal that anything I would attempt to put into words would fall short.
\nPregnancy update-well my GD numbers were very good until I went to visit my MIL this past weekend and they went soaring. My doctor was not happy. In all honesty, while my MIL is not the healthiest cook (and is diabetic herself), on the surface I am not sure what really went wrong. Since I have been back home my numbers have been better except I got tired of eggs for breakfast one day and I had a bowl of oatmeal yesterday instead and I was at 170. I didn’t know oatmeal was that bad, but I guess it is worse for different people.
\nIn the meantime I have 7 weeks to go an I am still not ready. We still need name. I am also apprehensive about sleepless nights, liquid diapers-the newborn stuff. Not aprehensive to the point pf psychosis, just looking back on all of my other pregnancies, at this point I was feeling so done and ready to see the baby. Now I would not mind an extra week-or two.
\nLabor Day I got to meet Dinka<\/a>. She and her family moved to Connecticut which is three hours from us, but like 45 minutes or less from most of my family who lives downstate. For the few years I have known her online, she has been in some other state that was someplace I would probably not venture to, now she is in the northeast. Cool.
\nWe spent the day at the park just chillin’. She and Lincoln packed us an awesome picnic lunch (healthy too) and the men chased the kids around while Dinka and I talked Mommy Shop. Baby Veronika is as cute as her pictures ad quite pleasant as well. Fastolph spent the whole time talking about “shooting things” with paintballs-how embarrasing.
\nWith summer coming to a close, Auriesville will be cosing soon and it will be back to finding a decent Mass without too much travel time again. Being able to go to Auriesville made me forget about the state of this diocese for now. Oh well.
