\nfacing the glories of the setting sun.
\nBut just before I get to Santa Fe
\nthere you are, stranger, with your ganglion
\nsized brain and SUV that weighs a ton,
\npaying no mind to sunset’s golden crown,
\nbut nitter-nattering ninety-nine to one…
\nso would you kindly put your cell phone down?
\nI’m dining out, which is the perfect way
\nto make the brain cells sing in unison,
\nrelaxing with my Merlot and filet,
\nwhen there you are with that damn cell phone on
\nyour ear, discussing how some game’s been won
\nand whether stocks are up or upside-down.
\nYou’re sharing all your life with everyone,
\nso would you kindly put your cell phone down?
\nHaven’t you noticed it’s a lovely day?
\nThe kind that makes you want to jump and run?
\nBut even jogging you can’t throw away
\nthat cell phone, can you? Why, you’ve just begun
\nto give your boss a sales plan that will stun
\ncompetitors and make your rivals drown.
