Today my pal Iris came over and helped me dig up all my rhubarb.  She&#8217;s going to try to keep it alive in pots for me until after we move.<br \/>\nI think we&#8217;ve found a place to move, though I&#8217;m going to cry myself to sleep every night thinking about the mortgage (metro DC is a cruel, cruel place).  Quaere:  isn&#8217;t it supposed to be a &#8220;buyer&#8217;s market&#8221;?  Then why is our seller acting like such a nut?  He called our agent 36 hours after signing the contract, telling her he&#8217;d had another offer for $10K more than we&#8217;d paid.  (Agent: &#8220;So?  Dude, you signed a contract.  If you don&#8217;t go to settlement, we could sue you.&#8221;)  (Well, she didn&#8217;t really say &#8220;dude&#8221; but I wish she had.  It would have been funny.)  Please, Lord, please help us just get to settlement without having to make a side trip to court.
