Virtual Adoration? uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh…..<\/b>
\nThere’s a very good discussion of the pros — and serious cons — of “virtual Adoration” over at Envoy Encore.<\/a> (Click “Current Encores” to catch up with the comment box.)
\nI’m not crazy about this idea at all. To me it seems well-intentioned, but a bit on the gimmicky side. If you are homebound or otherwise prevented from attending Adoration, there is nothing stopping you from making an act of Faith and a Spiritual Communion, using a photograph of a Monstrance as a reminder if you wish — and you don’t need a computer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
