Why is country so &#8220;forward thinking&#8221; when it comes to issues of immorality, and backwards when it comes to issues of child-rearing and motherhood?<br \/>\nI heard arguments on the O&#8217;Reilly Factor yesterday:<br \/>\n&#8220;the mother was offered a blanket to <a title=\"allow the toddler to get all hot, not be able to breathe and start a frustrating game of 'pull the blanket off' while drawing even more attention to what is going on\">&#8216;cover up&#8217;<\/a> which was reasonable, yet she rejected it&#8221;<br \/>\n&#8220;no one is saying mother&#8217;s should not breastfeed, <a title=\"if you are going to nurse, STAY HOME for the two years or whatever. Don't you know motherhood should equal isolation?\">just maybe not in public.&#8221;<\/a><br \/>\n&#8220;People need to care about <a title=\"no one cares if the child is hungry, people only want to see boobies on Bravo and MTV, not for what God intended. Sheesh, that's like saying sex is for procreation\">other people&#8217;s sensibilities&#8221;<\/a><br \/>\n&#8220;The child was <a title=\"was old enough to be weaned and thrown into daycare already! You can't nurse a child over 6 months! I know because I stand in as your child's mother when you aren't looking!\">22 months old at the time which is really old to be nursing.&#8221;<\/a><br \/>\nI am so annoyed and disgusted on so many levels, and if I continue to blog, I will say some really stupid things.<br \/>\nOk, I am going to go on anyway.
