I called my doctor’s office because I was experiencing many symptoms that may or may not be associated with pre-term labor. They were noticeable enough to stop me throughout the day, so after conferring with fellow Momfolk, I figured a call to the doctor was in order. I hate calling the doctor and this is exactly why:
\n“Is this your first baby?
\n“No, number 7.”
\n“Oh, well that’s what your problem is! Everything down there is shot.<\/i>”
\n“Um, oh”
\n“Yeah, Hon’, it’s done, you have no muscle tone left. You’re all used up.
\n“Oh, well, um…”
\n“There’s nothing. Nothing to hold anything up.”
\n“OK, then. I got it. Glad there’s no cause for concern.”
\nI kind of had a feeling that what i was experiencing was heightened sensitivity due to being a grand multipara, and I was relieved that is all it was, but dang.
