We"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>X-Men<\/b><br \/>\nIt was awesome! We went to see it Friday morning. It was a toss up between X-Men in the movie theater or<a href=\"http:\/\/disney.go.com\/disneypictures\/lizzie\/index.html?CMP=IL16072\"> <i>The Lizzie Maguire Movie<\/i><\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/disney.go.com\/disneypictures\/lizzie\/index.html?CMP=IL16072\"><i>Holes<\/i><\/a> at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hollywooddrivein.com\/\"> drive-in<\/a>. It was raining and <a href=\"http:\/\/decentfilms.com\/\">Decent Films<\/a> gave <i>X-Men<\/i> a better rating, so X-Men won out. Also, to be frank, the idea of sitting through <i>Lizzie Maguire<\/i> and <i>Holes<\/i> did not appeal to the adults of the family.<br \/>\nI started reading <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marvel.com\/minisites\/index.htm?family=x-men\"><i>The Uncanny X-Men<\/I><\/a> back in 1980 when I was 8 years old. I did not like any of the cartoons, and was apprehensive about the movie because they destroy the characters I have grown to imagine. While they did not stick to the story line totally (like Rogue being a teenager and other small things) they stuck to the good stuff. I am not sure <a title=\"a lead in to Pheonix for the next movie\">what to say that will not ruin it,<\/a> so I will just say it was a fun movie. If you like fun movies, go see it. Warning, it was a bit more violent than I like though.<br \/>\nI was also impressed that they kept Nightcrawler Catholic, even if he was a bit scrupulous.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>X-Men It was awesome!
