I totally agree with everything you said. Just to clarify, my thoughts were more for the author of the article then for Katheryn. There is a big difference between Katheryn&#8217;s prayerful discernment of a vocation, and the married author&#8217;s decision to not be a &#8220;breeder&#8221; despite the fact that she has names picked out for her would be children.<br \/>\nThis whole discussion also reminds me of a study my father told me about years ago. The study was about people&#8217;s reactions to babies. I think the scenario was someone standing in a public place with a baby. The findings were that women who did not have children had little or no interest in the baby, but women who had given birth could not walk past a baby with poking the child or saying &#8220;aww.&#8221; Men almost always stopped, cooed and smiled at the babies regardless of being a father or not.
