\nSo yesterday I gathered up the lavender and tied up six or seven bunches with string.

\nPeony:<\/b> I’m drying my lavender!
\nHusband:<\/b> Drying lavender? What are you, some kind of warlock?
\nSo I turned my husband into a frog and<\/s> took the lavender bunches down to the basement to hang them up to dry.I flipped on the light, started down the stairs, looked ahead….
\nand saw about half an inch of water on the basement floor.
\nSo last night we were slogging water into the drain and made a lot of progress. This morning dh went downstairs and all our progress is gone — more water seeped in. I don’t even know what this could mean, except that I won’t like it. I’ll have to call a basement guy tomorrow.
