And I agree.<br \/>\nThere are many professions that require higher education, but as Eric points out in his comments box, it seems like students are required to jump through unnecessary hoops to get that preparation.  If those hoops were part of a solid, liberal arts education that would be great (wouldn&#8217;t it be great if lawyers, doctors, and nurses had some <b>solid<\/b> background in philosophy, ethics, history, theology, and literature?)
