Today is Ian’s 14 birthday! Happy Birthday, Ian! I am so proud of you!
The cake is “white” cake with a lemon buttercream frosting. Ian said it reminded him of Froot Loops.

Did you use the icing recipe given on the blog? I’ve only made meringue buttercream once but it was sooooo good — so lithe and delicious.
Peony, yes I did. It’s like WOW! I was afraid of it, but I guess the key is the stand mixer.
