My husband was driving to work at around 5 am Tuesday morning when he started to lose control. The road was covered with ice that started to melt into a layer of slush covering the ice. The road turns rather hilly and winding where he started to lose control. He was going about 30 mph and was attempting to regain control of the mini-van where the road dropped into a hill and turned. But instead of the van turning it went straight through a barbed wire fence and started to roll sideways down a hill that made a huge drop into a ravine. Luckily the van was stopped at the edge of the hill by a tree. My husband was wearing his seat belt and was able to turn off the car, crawl out and call 911 on his cell phone.
When the police arrived, his first reaction was “where is the car?” my husband directed him to shine his light down the hill. The cop was shocked he walked away. He said that someone had an accident in the same manner in the same spot this summer, but they were thrown 40 feet from the car and are now a parapalegic. My husband suffered a mild concussion and mild whiplash, and some body aches, but seems to be ok, Deo Gratias.
Now we are still waiting to hear from the insurance and am hoping things go well because this is the last thing we need financially right now.
Thank you for your prayers.

One would think that if there had already been an accident like that, there would be some kind of rail at that point on the road to keep cars from potentially sliding down there…
Maybe they should think about putting one up there!!
Praying for you and your husband…
Wow. Glory to God. I am so glad that he is all right.
I’m so glad he’s ok!! Will be praying for you both!
Thanks be to God he’s alright! Prayers for your situation.
Coucoumelle,
My husband was saying today there should really be a guard rail there. He hopes they decide to put one there now.
Praying for you both, and thanking God for his blessings!
Offering up prayers. I hope everything works out. Thank God it was only the car that was lost!
Kate
His guardian angel must have been working overtime.
Hope you get enought to either buy a new van or get your current one repaired by your insurance. I always remember the adage, cars are replacable, people aren’t
Praying for a quick recovery and that everything works out insurance wise – so glad he isn’t badly hurt.
Wow! Praying also, for a fast recovery and a happy-to-help-you insurance experience.
