The NY Moss’s are expecting again. I don’t know how that happened. By my calculations, I figure I am due December 19. By my past experience, it is probably another boy.
Right now I am just trying to keep food down, not smell anything, and stay awake. Everytime I sit down I fall asleep, only to wake up to find someone drew whiskers on Baby Fredegar’s face.

Congratulations on the newest addition!
Peony, I can relate to the whole sleeping thing. I’m due in October, and it seems like every time I manage to grab a nap, the only one left in diapers makes a real messy one, then STICKS HER HAND IN IT and wipes it… wherever. Hopefully just on her legs, but a few times, on the carpet, couch, bedding, etc.
And people keep asking, “You seem so tired. Can’t you get a nap??”
OOoooh! Don’t get me started on the yucky diapers/pants thing….
How about rushing out the door because you are already late getting somewhere, plus to get there you have to cross a bridge that usually has two lanes of traffic each direction but that has been reduced to only one lane each direction, on top of which the OTHER bridge in town has been comletely closed for cleaning, which means that this is the only one anyone can use, and it’s pretty much traffic hour, (although thankfully most of the traffic is trying to come the opposite direction) and just as you are rushing to get the kids in the car, you discover that TWO of them have messed their pants.
There is only ONE word to express that sentiment that goes with this kind of situation and it is:
ARGGGGGGGHHHH!!!!!
And by the way, I can totally relate to the napping thing. The four oldest don’t nap, and numbers 3 and 4 can NOT be left together with no supervision for longer than 3 seconds. If I am ever lucky enough to actually get number 4 down for a nap, it is almost never at the same time as the baby, and if it is, well, the oldest three are usually really close to coming home from school and/or break out into a fight…
Congrats!!!
