I asked my neighbor, and she said the baby is doing well now. They had to transfer him from st. mary’s to Albany Med. I asked if he had any brain damage and she said no. She didn’t know what was wrong with him though.

Pansy,
I was so glad to hear this! I was hoping that you would get an update! You are a true hero, and even better, a modest hero. God saw you (or sent you) help that baby. That is the only One who matters. But, I know sometimes we want just A LITTLE credit, here!

Oh wow. Thank God you were there and know infant CPR! And I’m glad to hear the baby has apparently improved. Wow, I do need to learn CPR, I printed out instructions a while back knowing I wouldn’t take a class any time soon and I’ve even lost the instructions since. I always think about it regarding my own family but I would hate to have the chance to help other people, especially a child (people don’t supervise their kids well enough around the street here IMO) and just not have taken the time to learn something that could make a difference.
I used to get certified every year in BLS and Infant BLS. I think I stopped about the time I had number 3. This inspired to to look into getting everyone who is of age to go get certified. Some of it I remembered, but I forgot some as well.
Wow! Just Wow!
I’m so glad the baby is ok and that you were there when he needed you.
God’s blessings on you!
