I saw this and I'm still baffled. Why, WHY mention this?!

Oh, come on.... it`s different from when "common" people talk about this stuff. She`s a celebrity -- she could talk abot what kind of feminine hygiene products she prefers, and the press would be all over whatever she said.

Why, WHY mention this?!

You know, if you read her statement and if it were an essay in a high school english class, the teacher would pull out circle the "I'm on the pill" sentence with red ink because it has nothing to do with the rest of the paragraph.

I was actually even more offended by the whole mixed-race family speech.

You know, i wasn't going to say anything but... i know she is trying to make things "easier" on her kids, but what kind of racial family planning is this?! You'd think adopting children in need is a excellent witness to life, but then she ruins it all with this biological talk, like they are different breeds or something.

I'm sure she probably loves her children to the best of her abilities but I kind of get the feeling that she'll be bored of it all one day and decide to adopt a llama, or some kind of lizard just to shake things up...Ooo, ooo, maybe even a penguin...they're SO IN right now.
