Prayers for strength

There are things I have to do, that I don’t want to do, but I must do. The first part is just the practicality of getting them done. The second is dealing with the initial repercussions, but later, well, I haven’t got much of a choice.

for my brother Tom in Iraq. From his letters, Iraq sounds incredibly depressing. Two Marines on his base shot themselves in the head this week. He naturally sounds a bit freaked out. TIA.

My father who has been holding his own in his battle against Multiple Myeloma is no longer in remission. The doctors will start him on a new drug regimen today. TIA
