The screen that Legolas and Melody made a hole in so Melody could get inside will probably cost us approximately $30 to fix/replace. Ugh.
The hardware store guy did something that annoys the heck out of me each time someone does this. He said "well, you know that's going to cost around $30...do you still want it done?" "No, thanks for bringing that to my attention! My husband Patches and I would rather not open our window again." Mind you the only identifying characteristic as to whether we would be able to come up with $30 for a new screen is not that my husband is dressed in patches. This also happens everytime I go to pick-up a prescription, they do the same thing. One lady said "do you want to go see if it is cheaper at another pharmacy?" Yuck!
Back to those darn cats. Chun Li messed on Fastolph's bed again last night. She had stopped this behaviour a long time ago and I guess she finally got used to Legolas. I was afraid this would happen when we brought Melody in. So we have to make sure to keep the bedroom doors closed until she gets over it.
Homekeeping: September 2004 Archives
Well, we brought Melody inside. It was raining very hard on Saturday and she was sitting outside my kitchen window mewing with water pouring all over her. We let her in and she went straight for the food and water. Poor thing ate and ate and ate.
She has been purring ever since. She and Legolas basically "frolic" all night and are kind of annoying. They both decided they had to sleep on my head and "PURR, PURR". They are so cute in their annoyingness. I am glad she is happy now, she just better not give us fleas.
