I feel ripped off
by the Angel season finally. I have to think of more to blog on the subject. For now, I am feeling sort of short changed.
Update:Victor liked the episode much better than I did and he offers a much insightful and intelligent review than I could. I also think I know why I did not like the ending, but that is my own personal baggage. You know how that can be.
Updated update:My mom agrees with Victor.
Mom: I think they are going to kill off Buffy.
Pansy:I would rather see them kill her off then change her character having her leave is not consistent with Buffy, kwim?
Mom: Angel was so conciliatory last night. I enjoyed it,but Joss Whedon does not usually play to the audience.
Pansy: did you like Angel? I didn't
Victor Lams (fellow blogger) liked it a lot too, he said it was very pro-life
Mom: I liked what he did with Connor, whom I detest.
Pansy: I liked what he did too which was another plus for Angel. Connor annoys me too much to expend that much emotion on-I guess that is what annoyed me
Mom: I can see that the show was set up to either end or go on.
Pansy:and he still looked dirty after he had his new stable family
Pansy: yes, I saw that
Mom: But Joss Whedon usually doesn't care about the audience as much as his story line, and he was definitely pitching to us.
Pansy: yes
Mom: So that is why i think they are going to kill off Buffy. The whole thing reads like the windup for the final tumble in a gymnastics meet.
