Is the Clifford movie playing in your area? I thought it was coming out on February 20, but I haven't seen any ads for it around here, and I haven't been able to find it using those Web showtime finders.
I was thinking Hambet might enjoy it, but it doesn't seem to be playing around here. Maybe that's not such a bad thing; I found a couple of reviews and they weren't very complimentary.
I have never seen a preview to this at all. I would probably go to see it anyway if it was playing, even if it is mediocre (as opposed to gratuitous violence and nudity-LOL) because it is still an opportunity for an outing.
I never heard of it before I saw it on decentfilms.com the other day. The review was definitely mediocre but I just read it as a warning that this was not one of those clever movie parents enjoy too. (Personally, I don't understand how my own mother even willingly watches Clifford on TV all by herself.)
Thought of making it Davey's first movie in a theater, but aside from your difficulty finding a local showing, I had heard that movie theater sound could damage delicate little ears. Maybe that just means infants? (I am hoping he would be enthralled enough to mostly be quiet, and that the likely audience could deal with a brief squawking if we had to rush him out from our seat near the door...)
