How the courts protect women's rights II

That story I blogged about? With the dad and the police?

Mary's Advocates has been updated again:

our 3 year old [child] was taken from me on 9/15 at 4pm

A three-year-old taken away from his mother. I'm still trying to wrap my mind around that one; I know how my three-year-old acts when I've been away just for a couple of hours. I know how bedtime goes if I'm not around.

And wasn't this over homeschooling? So what are they doing taking away a preschooler?

Mary's Advocates has some addresses up, if you're looking for somewhere to send a letter.

UPDATE: This wasn't connected with the homeschooling issue.

This is so horrible.

Ineffably sad. The whole sordid story sounds almost fictional, cruel as anything in Dickens.

It appears the children were NOT take. See this link:

TSO, thanks for the link. There are four children in all, but mom is reporting on her website that the youngest was taken, so I guess the other three are still with her. Will provide more updates as needed.

The sad thing is that if Dickens wrote a novel about this today, would anyone blink?

That is too hard to fathom..... Just heartbreaking.
