This morning I had Baby Dominic (I have to start using his hobbit name, but I keep forgetting it) in the sling while I was making pancakes. He was staring at me with his little eyeballs and I tickled him under his chin. And he gave me a big smile! Happy moment!
Update: Baby Fredegar.
Gorbulas is having a cute moment as well. He has a bowl of Chicken and Stars soup in front of him and he keeps asking "Is hot syoop?"
"Yes, hot soup"
"Is hot syoop?"
"Yes, hot! Blow."
"Is hot syoop?"
"YES!"
Well, if you consider that hot could mean spicey instead of having a great reservoir of thermal energy, then maybe he meant that. If not, then he probably thought that it was a game.
thought you weren't supposed to cook w/baby in sling -- no i'm not calling you a bad mother, i'm thinking "life would be sooo much easier." hmm. i'm often afraid to use common sense when it comes to breaking a Safety Rule.
You're not, but no one would have eaten a meal in the past 5 years.
r o -- I know someone who cooks while keeping her littlest one in a backpack.
I did literally everything while wearing a baby (well, there were some things I didn't do.....)
If a woman in Africa can do it, why can't I?
But then I always tried to apply common sense to that kind of rule.
ROFL -- know what you mean about wearing the baby or getting nothing done.
We went to a bowling birthday party last night, and i bowled a strike while wearing the baby and nursing! I totally felt like SuperMom. :)
