That's so funny -- my baby was baptised yesterday, too. Isaac is now a squeky-clean soul.
And yesterday was the feast of the Baptism of the Lord.

Peony's birthday is Davey's baptismal feast. And the Pope's birthday. I think.
Yes, by proxy. When I first got pregnant, I had hoped to have him baptised down there. My father did the baptism, and we were considering having it done at the Church where he gets spiritual direction, but it never worked out.
As my dad would say, Fredegar, welcome to the club!
