"we don't want any trouble in here in any language"

The Latin back and forth between Peony and Bob in the comments box below is starting to resemble Doc Holliday and Johnny Ringo in Tombstone (one of my all time favorite movies, by the way). Not the part where they are on the verge of a gun fight, but the back and forth and me listening thinking "what did they say?"

There are a couple of more links to the conversation here and here. Peony found these when I mentioned what the conversation reminded me of. Are we geekier for looking for these or are the people who put this on the internet geekier?

I must be Johnny Ringo, then. Robertulus ludi mihi misit.

Madame, you intrigue me. I shall have to track down and watch that movie. (And may I send to both of respect and friendship in addition to jests?)

It's a pretty good movie, and Doc Holliday has SO many good lines.

hands down my all-time favorite movie quote:

i'm your huckleberry.

...to both of you friendship and respect. (sigh) I need a proffreader.

PROOFREADER. I need a PROOFREADER. Sheesh.

Maybe you need a proffreader too. LOL.
Smockmomma,
I love that line. How about this one-
"I've got two guns, one for each of you"

well, we have at least one profreader in the person of dear Mr Luse...

oh, and I am going to be working hard to shoehorn the phrase "I'm your huckleberry" into casual conversation sometime this week....

*Love* that movie!! When we move back to Arizona, you will all have to come visit, watch that movie and then head down the road to the actual Tombstone. We're not city-folk, but we love that city!

Sandy

Sandy!
Did you have the baby? What'd you have? Are you moving back to Arizona?
