Arthur and Andrew are asking for prayers for the soul of their maternal grandfather, Paul Hui; for their grandmother; and for mercy on the Canadian doctors who pulled Mr Hui's feeding tube on July 5.

That is disgusting what the doctors did to their grandfather, but do they all have to go on a bash Canada spree? "Thank God I have no relatives in Canada" says one comment... ummm,... wasn't Terri Schiavo starved and dehydrated to death in the US? My poor little Canadian ego is hurting here... But it is when one of the twins says he never liked Canada anyway, and resumes that by saying: "Abortion, Homosexual Marriages, Pro-Euthanasia, harboring terrorists and now Bible Banning" like none of this happens in the US... that was too much for what is left of the patriot in me... ESPECIALLY the harbouring terrorists bit... (watch me go red)
PS. Sometimes I don't want to live in Canada either. But where would I go? There is no perfect place. Sometimes, death looks really appealing... ummm... please don't take this as a suicidal thought...

Without trying to sound too morbid, I do know what you mean. You just get tired of fighting the good fight and you hope you can be with God. But on the other hand, I am sure I have a long wait in purgatory...a little too long to make that totally desireable, so maybe the good fight wil help with that.
