My Baby Brother

left on Monday for Marine Basic Training on Parris Island. When he left he said to us "Next time you see me, I'll be a Marine!"

I am very proud of him, but I pray the Lord watches over him.

You know, our brother "ain't no hollaback girl".

Tom would be scared if he heard you say that. He would say "don't say that again."

Then he would have been annoyed at you for trying to show him a new pair of pants that you got Dominic.

Yes, and then he'd say "did I ask you to show me little pants?"

I cleaned up his room and found a lot of little pieces of paper from when he was in 6th grade.

You probably also found a $5 allowance that you gave him in 1996 on the floor.

And three weeks worth of pay in cash, tossed in the back of the bathroom drawer.
