Have you ever had rabbit stew?

You can use the chicken cacciatore recipe on my blog. Holler if you need wine recommendations.

By the way, save the liver and kidneys: I have some great recipes for them. They will be a hit at your Easter dinner.

Erik, you're sicker than I am. All right, Peony, tell Hambet no one's going to eat the rabbit.

I was going to add just make sure you wear gloves when you clean a wild rabbit...but nevermind.(That one looks nice and meaty).

Happy Easter to you ladies.

EWWWWWW!!!! Don't eat wild rabbits!! They probably have worms!!!

He looks like one of our 3 (count 'em --3) resident bunnies. They regularly visit the foot of our bird feeder, and have grown a bit tame -- they actually let us get up a bit close to them. Yes, they are cute -- I love watching them wash their faces, they're just like our cats. (Chill, folks, the cats are indoor cats) If my Mom were around, she'd be thinking rabbit stew, but that's not for me. I just hope they stay away from whatever gets planted this coming spring. Nice photo, by the way!
