My father is doing so much better. Sadly, even with remission, the doctor said the stem cell replacement should give him two years. But they are coming out with new stuff all the time, even in the past year. Also, I think doctors tend to be conservative with their "you have x amount of time left" predictions.

He is doing as well as someone in his position can do. He has gained a lot (not too much) weight recently and is looking like a healthy man as opposed to a cancer patient, and his hair is growing back.
