They are building a Planned Parenthood in the city in which I live. Naturally I wanted to become part of an effort to be a thorn in their side. The problem is all the committees, groups, or what-have you are about cliques and I don't know what else. I hope God can use me for some good.

I encountered something similar. Each of the prolife groups sit around talking about how bad the other group is.
This is me after reading this post.
This is one of the most frustrating things about working in the pro-life movement.
If you encounter any sort of cliquishness or exclusivity, tell the offending parties — lovingly, of course — to get over themselves and remind them that pride goeth before a fall. Oh, and that the Wal-Mart of the Abortion Industry is invading your town, and that is the reason why you want to get involved.
